On Saturday, January 9th, Don Will of Tanya Morgan steps out of the group’s shadow to debut new songs off his forthcoming solo debut effort, Don Cusack in High Fidelity. The album, slated for release on March 23rd, is a stirring set of lovesick songs, inspired by the movie of the same title. The January 9th show, at the Homebase NYC 2010 kick-off event at Santos Party House, should contrast a bit from the Tanya Morgan shows fans are used to, as Don Will’s holds down the stage on his own, sharing the floor with both male and female vocalists to add flavor to High Fidelity tunes. Also on the bill are capable wordsmith, Homeboy Sandman, Pac Div affiliate TiRon, and the Q-Tip-endorsed MC, Spree Wilson.
