If you don’t already know, Move Forward Music is supporting the Freestyle 2.1 iPhone App, a portable studio for your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, which lets you record demos, and then upload them to Facebook, Twitter or Soundcloud, all right from your device. Last year, we launched the free beta version of the app to rave reviews, garnering over 100,000 downloads, and pushing Freestyle to become 1 of the Top 25 Music Apps in the Apple Store. The updated version, available in the Apple Store for $1.99, has created quite a buzz, with new and improved features like enhanced sharing capabilities and integration with your iTunes library. version 2.1 hit the Apple App Store last week.

Last week, we tested out Freestyle 2.1 on some of our favorite MCs and tastemakers in Brooklyn, who got a chance to use the updated version before it hit stores last week.

Check out what Sene, Charlie Smarts (of Kooley High) and Koncept (of Brown Bag All-Stars) had to say about Freestyle 2.1, and find out what the hype is all about!
