Chicago rapper Saba kicked off the US run of his Care For Me Tour with a bang, selling out the first two nights in Boston and New York, respectively. Highline Ballroom hosted the sold out night in NYC, featuring a dynamic performance with Saba complete with a custom set design of his Grandma’s kitchen. The night also featured performances from Pivot Gang crew Joseph Chilliams and Jean Deaux, along with local support from Queens’ own deem spencer.
This headline play was just one of many appearances made by Saba in New York and presented by Move Forward Music: No Ceilings NY at Rough Trade ft Saba and Cousin Stizz, Bucket List at Rough Trade, followed by the Bucket List Tour at Studio at Webster Hall. This particular show garnered mentions from the New York Times and NY Mag‘s Grubstreet.
