RECAP: SOB X RBE, G. PERICO, OMB PEEZY, CUZ LIGHTYEAR, and YUNG PINCH proved to be Early Bets at their Webster Hall Show!

July 25, 2017 9:03 am

Performing for a New York City crowd is intimidating for artists from the South or West Coast. The vibe and sounds are completely different from one another so it’s hard to predict how the notoriously fickle New York crowd will react.

The Active Management showcase brought SOB X RBE, G. PERICO, OMB PEEZY, CUZ LIGHTYEAR, and YUNG PINCH to the Studio at Webster Hall. With three of the acts coming from the West Coast and two from the South, it definitely didn’t feel like you were in New York City and that was what made it so dope. These out-of-towners definitely got the NY crowd going crazy! 💯

Each act had their own distinct sound, but all were high energy an exciting look into the up-and-coming artists from coasts other than our own! One of our favorite moments was when OMB Peezy performed his hit “Laydown”, which still manages to be stuck in my head days later.

Catch SOB x RBE and YUNG PINCH at Day N Night in L.A. in September, among some of the hottest Hip Hop/Rap artists that are out right now. (As well as a bunch other Move Forward Music vets 😉)

Check out the full recap below and make sure you see them next time they’re in the city!
