Revival

Revival was a monthly dance function held in a car garage that had been converted into an art gallery in Brooklyn called Free Candy. Located on an off-the-beaten-path industrial strip of Atlantic Avenue, in the shadow of the Barclay’s Center, it launched with an afterparty to the opening of Jay-Z’s historic concert at the new arena, and quickly became the only event in Fort Greene that regularly drew notable DJs such as Rich Medina, Tony Touch, Stretch Armstrong and DJ Spinna. Revival ended when Free Candy was shut down in 2014 and remains a unique moment in NY nightlife.
