IAMSU!, Tink @ Webster Hall

2014 marks a major year for Downtown Festival, including inaugural events in Cleveland (September 19-20) and Minneapolis (September 26-27), as well as November dates in Los Angeles and Houston. Downtown Festival brings together high-profile national artists and the most compelling emerging artists on unique bills in intimate settings at an affordable price – offering the curation of a large festival at the cost of a club show.

This Friday, October 3rd, West Coast rapper/producer IAMSU! plays Webster Hall along with Kiesza, Autre Ne Veut, Zebra Katz, and Saint Pepsi.

Downtown Festival launched in 2011, commemorating Downtown Record’s 5th Anniversary, and featured sold out performances from some of today’s hottest acts across multiple genres, including Santigold, Major Lazer, Miike Snow, A-Trak, White Denim and others, over 2 nights at New York’s Webster Hall and Terminal 5. In 2013, Downtown Festival returned to NYC, taking over 8 venues in downtown Manhattan with performances from Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Purity Ring, Earl Sweatshirt, Ab-Soul, Sky Ferreira, DIIV, Trash Talk among others.

This Saturday, October 4th, Chitown native and triple threat singer/rapper/songwriter Tink plays Webster Hall along with Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks, Atlas Sound, Tobacco, Vacationer, and Computer Magic.
