Junglepussy, the hood glam internet phenom that seems to be on everyone’s lips these days, offers an exclusive performance at Webster Hall’s House Party this Thursday July 10th. The Brooklyn-born rapper will perform music from her debut album, Satisfaction Guaranteed, which premiered on Vice this month, in the 1992 room of House Party, alongside Downtown’s sweetheart, Vashtie, and the 1992 crew Oscar and Huggy Bear. Also featured at House Party this week are DJ Big Ben of the Heavy Hitters, who plays with Just Blaze and DJ Soul in the Grand Ballroom, and Swizzymack, who celebrates his “Bump” single release in the Bandits’ Basement.
Junglepussy hit the music scene hard last fall with her fierce look and smooth club bangers full of unapologetic rhymes, quotable lines, and trunk-rattling beats. The 21-year-old talent has since been dropping singles and collabs with other underground hip-hop luminaries like Tink and Mykki Blanco, even grabbing the attention of Erykah Badu.
After hosting a jam-packed and sexy performance by Tinashe last week, House Party goes for something a little edgier, a little nastier, this Thursday with Junglepussy.
House Party happens every Thursday night at Webster Hall. Ladies free, flat tops never pay.
